Blepharoplasties on the upper or lower eyelids or both are cosmetic procedures, which soften or remove wrinkles, bags, sags, and dark circles around the eyes. Since the eyes are right in the middle of the face and what people look at most when they are talking with us, the eyelids are probably the most noticeable indication of the aging process. Consequently blepharoplasty can be the most effective procedure for facial rejuvenation and it’s conservative, virtually painless, without significant complications (if in the proper hands), and high on the list of patient satisfaction. Blepharoplasty is performed under local anesthesia in the office, with or without sedation. Other than the presence of tiny sutures for a week and some inevitable bruising and swelling, recovery is insignificant. Incisions heal nicely because of the thin skin of the eyelids and the scar is virtually undetectable after a short time. Patients can be doing household chores the day after surgery. The results are generally not shocking, but rather subtle and pleasing. The tired haggard look is gone and people look more bright, alert and youthful.

Nobody could ever say that a free consulation about blepharoplasty or any other cosmetic procedure, is not well worth the money.
