Michael Zipfel, the founder and President of Zipfel Capital, has been in the mortgage business since graduating from Miami University with a degree in finance in 2001.
Focusing on a fundamentally sound approach to home finance, Michael realized early in his career that providing the most aggressive rates and terms requires a low overhead structure. In addition, Michael's analytical approach to mortgage enables him to maximize his clients' dollars by aptly providing advice and product placement based on each client's particular situation, taking into consideration each borrower's ownership horizon, credit & income scenario, downpayment/equity position, and foreseeable life changes, all of which play a major role when selecting a mortgage product.

Ten years as a debt placement strategist, Tim works directly with his client’s wealth managers, real estate brokers, CPA’s & attorneys to ensure the mortgage aligns with both their short and long term financial goals.
Leader amongst his industry peers, Tim was recognized in Mortgage Professional Magazines America’s HOT 100 list for 2018; movers and shakers redefining America’s mortgage industry. Tim’s routinely featured annually as a Greater Cincinnati Mortgage Bankers Association (GCMBA) Diamond Producer as well as previously published advice within Cincinnati Business Courier’s “Ask the Expert” piece.
Being a life-long Cincinnati resident, Tim holds a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University and is a graduate of The Summit Country Day School.
Outside of Zipfel Capital, Tim is a real estate investor and active within the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative aimed at providing guidance to under-served youth. He lives in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Mt. Lookout with his wife, Emily, daughter Grace and son Teddy.
As Business Manager, Blake is responsible for the operations of Zipfel Capital. He oversees company marketing, brand outreach, client retention efforts and office efficiency.
In his Development role, Blake is charged with both nurturing and expanding Zipfel Capital lending relationships as well as leading company growth strategies thru client focused professionals in various industries: brokers, realtors, wealth managers, to name a few.
Adding thoughtful prospective, Blake has been a featured professional radio guest on “Business Wise” WNKU discussing market trends and lending best practices. Venue Magazine featured Blake in their list of "Next Generation of Community Leaders".

Blake received his Bachelors of Science degree from University of Denver, Daniels College of Business. He is an avid squash player & downhill skier.
Kurt joined Zipfel Capital after a long career within the commercial real estate industry. Previously VP of Business Lending at two privately held collectives, Kurt has been responsible for lending in excess of $300,000,000 in commercial paper within the Greater Cincinnati market.
Furthermore, now within broker model, Kurt is able to match a variety of competitive lenders to each specific deal. This flexible foundation offers Kurt’s clients a wealth of solutions in navigating the debt placement industry.
Kurt specializes in multifamily, office, industrial, flex and retail. Kurt also has a strong background in SBA lending, being able to provide clients 7(a) and 504 options to small businesses looking to grow.
Kurt holds a bachelor’s degree from Hillsdale College and is a graduate of Elder High School.
